I am a mother first. My son is 11, and my daughter is 8. I recently found myself suddenly in need of a job after being a stay-at-home mom for so long. My mother has been in real estate for the past twenty years, and has been bugging me to take over her business. The real estate industry does not seem to mesh with my interest in sustainable living. I am here to figure out how to make this career opportunity mix with my passion.

In my Interests, I listed fitness first. Well... That's not an interest, it's a necessity. I hate working out, but find try and force myself anyway. I do enjoy vigorous activities as an excuse to skip my regular routine. When I am sitting still, my writing consists of journaling, and a few freelance articles. Flute was my first instrument, but I paid for college with my voice. Fiber arts is just a fancy way of saying I like to play with string.

My world has turned upside down recently, and my inspirations have been ripped from me. My actions are borne of necessity lately. When my world calms down I will have to search my soul for a whole new me, and a whole new set of inspirations.

I speak six languages, which I feel reflects my gift to gab. Better than my ability to speak is my ability to listen. I am able to listen to problems without trying to fix them.

I am the queen of TMI. I just do not get embarrassed easily, which seems to embarrass everyone around me. I am making an concerted effort though! My kids shake my pinky finger, or hold their pinky finger up to cue me when to shut up and change the subject. I would follow that cue from anyone else too.
