Perhaps being born on Earth Day had something to do with it, but from a very young age, I started championing for the protection of our great planet. On my12th birthday, I founded the organization Earth 2000 with just a few friends and $23. I transformed this grassroots organization into a national advocacy force of 25,000 young people and campaigned all over the world on environmental issues.

Today, that spirit of activism continues as I teach people how to live a greener, healthier, and more stylish life. I truly believe you can have a green home and it can be gorgeous, too. Whether I'm out in LA working with a celebrity client on renovating their homes, or writing a book for my Simply Green book series, I'm always looking, developing and coming up with new, exciting and easy ways for all us to live a greener life, every single day.
