MamaJul, as she was known to her eight grandchildren, had a compost pile that dated back to the 50s, brought semi-used computer paper to the church next door to her house for the Sunday school kids to draw on, and reused tin foil, ziplock bags, etc. to the point of no return. She was born and raised in Brooklyn but had a love for nature and all animals and spent most of her free time outdoors.
