Interests: I love my little man, he is my bichon frise named Bailey he takes care of me and protects I've had him since he was 5 weeks old. My next love is SHOPPING! Inspiration: My inspiration are my grandson, my kids and my mom that's what I live for. Virtues: I have strong virtues in life, I believe you should stand up for what you believe in and speak out, I'm afraid I wouldn't have been one to give my seat up and go to the back of the bus either, we all have rights, color doesn't matter were all equal to God Vices: I guess my worst thing is that I don't mind speaking up and speaking my mind and I do have a lot of good points and I do some of the time but I just don't feel like I get involved enough! I am a 45 year-ol mother of two children of my own, daughters, and two stepchildren one stepdaughter and one stepson. I also am the proud grandmother of my 2 year-old grandson Chandler. My oldest daughter, his mother, is a school teacher and is finishing her Masters this fall and will be becoming the Principal of a school. My youngest daughter is going to school to be a teacher right now. My stepdaughter is a R.N. at a local hospital here and just recently found out she is pregnant with her first child due in late February. My stepson works at Lexmark in Lexington. I feel like we have been blessed with good intelligent children that really took the right paths in life. My stepson graduated suma cum laude from the University of KY engineering school. My daughter going for her Masters so far has made straight A's, is teaching and has a soon to be 3 year-old and is married running a household, I don't know how she does it and make straight A's, she's not only beautiful which she really is not just because she's mine, she's just so smart and she's one of those people that doesn't really even have to work for it, it just comes natural for her, now my other daughter bless her heart, she has to work herself to death studying but she's making A's and B's also but she's putting her nose to the grindstone to do it, these days that's what it takes and she also recently got married in June and holds down a full time job. They've all done that so they all deserve credit, all these kids out there trying like that and working, going to school and especially by then most of them do have families or atleast a husband or wife, it's tough, I know I did it myself, but it makes you stronger or it did me. I am one of those types of people anyway, very competitive and especially if someone said I couldn't do it or they just didn't see how I could ever do something like that with everything else I had on my plate, that just made me more determined to show them Oh yes I can and I guess that's the kind of attitude that's got me through life and I have passed that onto my kids which I think is a very good trait. Independence, that is a very good trait to have. I have always told my children there are only two people in this world you can count on first is God second is you and you can forget anybody else because just when you think you can put all your trust into someone it will blow up in your face and it's proved to be true for both of them, now I'm not talking about their husbands because they both have wonderful husbands who put them up on pedestals, I'm serious I could have not went out and hand picked either one of my son-in-laws, they both are the types you can see it when they look at my daughters even just on a daily basis you can just tell how they look at them how much they love them at that is so rare I've told them, some people never even find that kind of love, and you are both so lucky because both of you have experienced it and that's saying alot. |
