I am a physician, acupuncturist, motivational counselor, and the founder of the Pennington Empowerment Group in Bethesda, Maryland.

I received my doctor of medicine from Washington University School of Medicine. I trained in Pediatrics at Georgetown University Hospital and received acupuncture certification from both the Helms Medical Institute at UCLA and the Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, New York. As a certified Age Management Physician and graduate of the Authentic Happiness Coaching Program, I am a doctor of the new millennium who operates as not only a physician but as a 21st Century "wellness & lifestyle coach."

An Organic Pregnancy: An organic pregnancy is my personal journey towards a natural based pregnancy. Through my experience women can learn how to incorporate natural-based pregnancy elements into their nine-month journey into motherhood. I'll share tips for each period of pregnancy and share the personal experiences of some of my patients from my integrative medical practice.
