Rachele Kanigel is a freelance writer specializing in health, food, and alternative approaches to living. She was a daily newspaper reporter for 15 years, mostly covering health and science. Her work has appeared in Health, Alternative Medicine, Yoga Journal, TIME, Hippocrates, Reader's Digest, Healthy Kids and the dearly departed Organic Style, as well as CNN.com, Healthscout and Babycenter. She also teaches journalism and advises student publications at San Francisco State University. Her book about college newspapers, The Student Newspaper Survival Guide, was published by Blackwell Publishing in 2006. |
