According to an article in the L.A. Times, a growing number of Americans are viewing global warming as a moral issue, and are spreading the word. Among them are Keanu Reeves and Alanis Morissette, who narrate the new film The Great Warming—about how we can solve the climate crisis. Reeves' fans were upset to learn that the movie is a documentary, not a Bill and Ted spin-off in which Alanis and Keanu, eyes glazed over, discover a time machine and travel through the 20th Century hugging penguins and inventing fossil fuel alternatives.
Early this month at the UN, Sigourney Weaver teamed up with the NRDC, and more than 60 conservation groups to take a stand against bottom-trawling deep sea fishing, a practice that's destructive to countless species of aquatic life as well as to the ocean floor. A representative from Greenpeace says that would be "like blowing up Mars before we (could explore it)." Ironically, this quote caused those who've watched Weaver's most famous movie too many times to call for more trawling, lest we all be devoured by horrifying undersea monsters after innocent exploration missions.
Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late famed conservationist and Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, is following in her father's footsteps with a love of nature. The eight-year-old Irwin showed up at Nickelodeon's Australian Kid's Choice Awards in an official Australian Zoo uniform. The child was seen covered in Nickelodeon's notorious neon green slime, causing a herd of cameramen and travel show hosts to rush at the opportunity to catch a child in its natural habitat.
Adored Brazilian supermodel Gisele is appearing in commercials to raise awareness of the massive deforestation taking place in the Amazon rainforest along the Xingu River. We at the Green Room applaud the model's efforts, despite widespread claims that her body is a principal cause of the alarmingly increased hotness of the planet.

I really like the article about keanu’s new adventure about how to solve the climate crisis. I think fans alike were just mad about the concept. How it was like Bill and Ted. Now its just no Ted and about the environment. I mean well always remember “dude”, and “whoa”, and “far out”, and of course the grim reaper. Now he is trying to inform the population about the environment. I mean if more celebrities were more into the green. I think more of the population would fallow along.
