It's a constant question - is it possible to regulate a field that has been unregulated since the beginning of time? The American Herbal Products Association, in conjunction with many other CAM organizations (together they form the Traditional Medicines Congress) is proposing new regulation for herbal and dietary supplements. The proposal, titled A Proposed Regulatory Model for Traditional Medicines: Guiding Assumptions and Key Components [PDF], is currently undergoing a review process that is open to anyone who has a thought to share (until June 30, 2006).
