National Geographic has teamed up with National Public Radio’s Morning Edition to produce a amazing new series of radio expeditions / web travelogue exploring the Geography of Heaven: ideas about the afterlife, the idea that something is out there beyond death.

And they begin the series in Vrindavan: “There is beauty, because Vrindavan is heaven—not a metaphor for heaven, or a way to heaven. This is heaven.”

Wow, this is such a cool mutlimedia project: Slideshows. MP3 soundscapes. Several articles (1 | 2 | 3). And the NPR radio broadcast. Sooo beautiful.
