That's great. You know a few years ago people would really have think that what is it all about eco travel and tourism. I would read that there is a new eco hotel upcoming in the city and wonder what they would do for the ECO tag.

Then I understood that the building were green in the sense that they would ensure that the premises would not contribute to green house gas and they would have an effective water management plant and recycling kitchen waste and stuff like that. I really appreciate such projects.

I recently visited a Edinburgh Bed and Breakfast and man are they eco friendly or what. Awesome accommodation and very eco centered.

In all my traveling experience if I were to rank all the countries I have visited in terms of eco-traveling I think Australia would be on top. My recent vacation there showed me that Australia is not an ordinary country as I used to think.

I think the biggest impact our traveling has that while on vacations we do shop and the use of plastic bags remains quite prevelant and therefore when we go to the market to buy a toothpaste the storekeeper will give it in a plastic bag usually.

Avoid carry things in a pastic bag pay him the money and ask for either a paper bag or then collect the bill and keep it in your own bag. Save the environment from plastic bags they are choking and killing water drainage lines.
