Widely considered a news outlet with more than a touch of conservative spin, Fox News scored big points with environmentalists last night when it aired a one-hour special report, The Heat is On: The Case of Global Warming. It was a surprisingly candid and skeptics-free look at the science behind climate change—especially considering that Foxnews.com is home to “Junk Science” columnist Steven Milloy, one of the most notorious of the so-called climate skeptics.
The news documentary sported visually stunning images of Montana’s Glacier National Park, where little more than two dozen glaciers remain of the 150 that existed in 1910, at the time of the park’s creation; all are expected to disappear completely within two decades. Other stops included Alaska, where glaciers are vanishing at a staggering rate of 200 feet per year. In the “what you can do” section they spotlighted StopGlobalWarming.org, a virtual march on Washington spearheaded by Hollywood activist Laurie David.
Fox News has come under criticism from some conservatives for its documentary, but it can't ignore its own polls, which show that “77 percent of Americans believe global warming is happening and, of those, more than twice as many think it is caused by human behavior.”

why is it so bad?
we can never create a good out of it
might as well be better if we adjust to changes
