New United Nations Agency Will Protect Environment
from Globe and Mail
On the heels of the release of the International Panel on Climate Change report on global warming, French president Jacques Chirac and other world leaders have called for a new UN environmental agency; 46 countries have agreed to pursue plans for the organization.
