This is a tough scenario. The Chinese are faced with an energy crises and they have plenty of coal.

Hopefully they will devise a way to meet their needs and do little damage to the planet, but that doesn't really look possible, does it?

Coal is an inexpensive energy source that is plentiful. While to US struggles with this issue, the Chinese goes forward to fulfill the country's needs without regard to the rest of the world.
