China to Top U.S. as Greenhouse Gas Polluter

In a seismic shift that comes as a result of China’s proliferating coal-based power plants, China will overtake the United States as the biggest emitter of greenhouse gases this year, far earlier than thought.

I would think that a country who mandates how many children you are allowed to have can find a way to come up with more initiatives to help with global warming.
