Desperately obsessed fans of the BBC cult sci-fi classic Dr. Who are planning to hire a psychic to help them locate missing episodes dating from 1964-1969 that were “wiped by the BBC.” Fan Martin Brown explains to The Sun Online—“If people can use psychics to reunite family with deceased loved ones then it is quite conceivable we can use a psychic to track down these missing episodes.”

One “lost” episode was recovered in 2004 by an ex-employee of the BBC, but the fans look hopefully towards Asia and the Middle East—places where tapes were distributed to oversea television stations.

Who will the fans hire? The primary candidate is Derek Acorah, a clairvoyant who appears on the television show Most Haunted, and according to The Sun Online is “rumoured to be making a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of the new series of Dr. Who on the BBC in April.”

I was in Best Buy the other day and was wondering the same thing. They have such a good spread of Dr. Who and the 3 different men who played him. I loved this show growing up.
