Today's lunch holds special meaning for me. You see, in my pre-LIME days, I used to work at SCIFI.com [1]. For a time, we were owned by Barry Diller [2]'s Internet behemoth, IAC/InterActiveCorp [3]. IAC bought Ask.com [4] a few years ago. Ask.com used to be called AskJeeves [5]. It's mascot was Jeeves the Butler [6]. The character of Jeeves was made famous on the big screen by noted Merv Griffin [7] sidekick Arthur Treacher [8]. In his later years, Arthur Treacher became the greatest fish & chips mogul [9] the world has ever known (with apologies to Mr. Long John Silver [10]). So you can clearly see why I would have an affinity for this particular meal.

Sure, it's certainly not the greenest, healthiest lunch I could have. In fact it's downright beige. But today's lunch gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling of well-being, and isn't that what it's all about?

BTW, is that a beer I'm having with my lunch?
