The Benefits- Soy dogs contain up to 13 grams of soy protein. The FDA says 25 grams of soy protein as part of a daily diet is beneficial to heart health.
- Less MSG. High levels of MSG are often found in traditional hot dogs, and excessive ingestion of the stuff can cause circulatory, cardiac, neurological, gastrointestinal, and/or respiratory problems. (Is there even anything left to list?)
- Soy production uses a fraction of the resources of meat production. Meat uses up to 17 times more land, up to 26 times the water, 6-20 times more fossil fuels and 6 times the biocides.
