Best alternative method: meditation

That's what i use. concentrate on the pain. try to locate in your mind the exact spot that's painful, meditate on it, and you'll start feeling the pain is going away... the process takes about 3 minutes (headache, stomach, etc..)

there is no physical pain

it's all in our head... what i'm trying to say is that we can use our mind to overcome these pains. whether by ignoring it or using positive thinking techniques. meditation also might work...

I spent some time in the Far East, was introduced to accupunture there, you should try it it's amazing, definitely a good alternative.

Nerve Pain
by Mary on June 10, 2006 - 8:12am
Nothing helps with nerve pain except prescribed medications. Even those only help some but not entirely. Nerve pain in noncurable and relentless. You have it 24/7 and it definitely hinders many daily activities. No amount of meditation would help with this type of pain although I don't know about acupuncture since I have never tried that.
