Fine to a point
by karenfigge on May 30, 2006 - 3:54pm
Our water is fine to a point, but I feel over time we are poisoning ourselves with flouride and chlorine and other chemicals. I did some reseach and found this was one thing that I could change in my life to cut down the pollutants.

I buy a lot of bottled water and don't feel so good about it. But the water in my office tastes pretty terrible. I do keep and recycle my bottles, but still--I have to start bringing in a bottle of water from home.

Drink tap water, 90 % of the time it's fine for you. The large beverage companies want you to believe it is bad for you so you buy more of their junk. Steer clear of the Propaganda

planet friendly bottled water
by samtaklos on May 31, 2006 - 12:01pm
I travel a lot and will only drink bottled water. I was concerned about the plastic bottles and the waste factor. I found a company that bottles springwater from Teluride Colorado and..... the bottle is Planet Friendly It is made out of 100% renewable resource.CORN! BIOTA colorado pure spring water is available at Whole Foods, Wild Oats and major grocer chains across the country. Check it out. The water tastes great and the bottle is commercially compostable, A new company so let's support it! BIOTA

Lessee, The California Bay area drinks water that is treated with something called chloramine....hmmm chlorine plus ammonia. Isn't that what is used to make mustard gas and doesn't chloramine treated water kill frogs and small fish? We have lots of water stories about the US.

Don't forget about the flouride in water for your teeth
by Anonymous on June 6, 2006 - 11:47pm
If you should have very young children with teeth just coming in do not forget to give them tap water, even if it has to be boiled. For the main reason, that bottled water has removed the calcium and flouride in it's water. If you give them bottled water you are to expect that their teeth will be rotten at the age of two, and have to be capped or root canals. Lesson learned!
