EPA Administrator on Jon Stewart

When funnyman Jon Stewart hosted EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, he confessed that he, himself, had long been emitting carbon dioxide and wondered whether he was at risk of being regulated under the Obama administration.

The two also tangled over nomenclature: "cap-and-trade" vs. "market-based transition" and debated whether trying to control climate change was beyond our ability.

Stewart was also determined to get to the bottom of the question as to why the 17,000 people in the EPA during the Bush administration couldn't have overthrown the leadership. "It seems like just such a perfect opportunity for what I would call a mutiny," he quipped.
