Appetite for Deconstruction 2: Architectural Salvage

Previously on Reduce Reuse Remodel [0], I said that until we get a permit [1] to build the new studio [1], I don’t want to tear down the old one. Today I say, Pshaw—waiting for the permit is getting frustrating. And even if the new plans don’t get approved, I’m still going to need to rebuild the studio, so it’s still going to need to come down, right? Right. Waiting around for a permit is getting frustrating—as the summer quickly slides away – so that’s what I’m telling myself. I’ve started that inventory [1] of what can be salvaged from the old building. A few entries from that list…
