Absolutely!

I agree with you! If anything, books like "The Celestine Prophecy," "The Secret," and even "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz can provide positive tools to change life in the best of ways, and gives people a great perspective on everything that is! I like Celestine and Agreements more than the Secret, because they seem a little more from the heart. All great books and philosophies, though!

more time.

There just isn't enough time in the day! A little love helps ease you at times too, but what gets to me is lack of hours during the day! But hey at least summer is coming up and you at least get tricked into feeling that you have more time to finish everything now that the sun stays up longer.

Better health and more time.

they also relate to each other, if i have more time then...I can concentrate more on taking care of myself. So I suppose I'll settle for more time.

Leisure time statistic
by Statuesqueone on May 29, 2007 - 11:11pm
Interesting that so many of us say more time is what is lacking in our lives.... I just heard a report that the average American has 6 hours of leisure time a day! Not sure what they mean by leisure time, seems like my day is filled with activities from the time I wake up until my head hits the pillow. Maybe cooking, cleaning, working out, running errands, doing laundry, taking a shower, etc.... is all considered leisure time to the poll takers?

intentional planning
by EmpoweredBirth on May 31, 2007 - 10:12am

I truly believe that happiness comes from within & that external things like time, people, entertainment etc enhance the happiness that you already have...it's a choice; a perspective.  Of course, life's "extras" make ever-day living more comfortable & easier...the point is to be grateful for what you do have instead of longing for what you don't.

Blessings.

Not so much better health as....
by Ecobabe on June 10, 2007 - 10:40pm
...less pain. Seems like I am always hurting somewhere on my body. My Tibetan healer tells me it;s "inflammation" and if I would just eat these expensive foul tasting herbs I would be all better. My Western doctor tells me it's because I work out.... she doesn't work out and she isn't in any pain so therefor it must be the working out. Somehow I don't think she's right. Now the Tibetan healer I might just subscribe to if the herbs didn't taste so vile.
