Just because you're royalty doesn't mean you can't be open-minded. In the next issue of Men's Health (UK edition), Prince Charles shares his surprising thoughts on staying healthy.
When asked for tips on getting young men to take better care of themselves the Prince answered, "Via the ladies, I'd have thought. It's funny, the influence that women can have on getting us men sorted out is enormous."
In addition to his fervent support of the female influence, Charles is also a champion of complementary and alternative therapies. Through mocking and ridicule, he has publicly condoned the used of complementary and alternative (CAM) treatments and has even gone so far as to ask an economist to calculate how much money the NHS would save by using alternative treatments.
"There's been endless ridiculing and rubbishing, endless laughing, full stop," he said. "But is it so controversial to suggest that we are actually made up of mind, body and spirit and not just of the body?"
Which U.S. political figures openly support the use of CAM? Do you wish there were more?
