Study Links Moderate Drinking With Good Health for People Over 70

A five-year-long study of 2,487 men and women between ages 70–79 shows that the moderate consumption of alcohol is tied to a 26-percent decrease in mortality risk, and almost 30 percent when tied to diminished risk of cardiac events.
