Well I've never really celebrated 4th of July, but now that I'm thinking about it maybe I should consider using this holiday to my advantage and organizing something nice, maybe an eco-fantastic get together, since we all get the day off that day.
I don't necessarily thing that green is the new red, white, and blue, because if that were the case, I would notice more interest of greener issues in today's politics... and that's not really the case. I mean yea there are a lot of green politicians like Al Gore that are out there trying their best, but ... it's a not a huge number, I feel.
I think that green should be the red, white and blue though!
The whole point to this green thing is to educate. Whether it's a national pastime issue is not as important as what are we doing personally. I have invested in a green business selling environmentally safe products. I love them for myself and felt it was necessary to be a part of making them available to friends, family and co-workers. I am handing out flyers for laptoplunches when school starts. We can make a difference in our own community.
