recycle foil, does anyone know how?
Posted by mary owens on September 18, 2007 - 1:58pm.

i am a stylist in a salon, yesterday i went to a haircamp(don't laugh) and i was inspired by a paul mitchell rep, who inspired me to go green in our salon. what i am personally looking for is a way to recycle our foils, they are aluminum and we use quite a lot of them...i just feel bad throwing it away. i am not joking when i say at least one to two 13 gallon trash bags a day get sent to the trash with used foil in them ....there has got to be  a way for us to recycle this, if anyone has any information i would be more than happy to receive it.

thanks in advance and wish me luck on my quest to make our salon green!

This summer the same question came up at LIME. Give the forum a look.  It had some good ideas.  By the way, you can recyle foil, you just have to wash it off.

Here is a boulder website that you should take a look at: http://www.boulderinternetguide.com/Recycling/boulder_recycling.htm
or check out this one:

I live in Boulder and sometime getting someone to come pick up recycling is tough. So, the second website is a list of all the drop off spots.
Hope it helps. Good luck, stay green.
Namaste!
