I am feeling amazing today, it has been a really good day, and I don’t know I feel like I am glowing. Maybe it is because I weighed myself this morning, since I have started not eating meat I have lost 9 pounds! Can you believe it! It has always bee really hard for me to loose weight in the past now I think I know why. And one other thing I have notice is that my hair and skin are starting to look really nice, I think I might have to buy some of that Korres http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=5715 I saw on that site also that they have moisturizers and creams for your hair.

I am just not sure if I am going to eat meat or never eat it again, I like it, but now I see what it did to my body. I don’t know, I have a little more than 2 weeks to give it some thought.

You will know, when the time comes

I think that within the next two weeks, you will come to a good decision, choose something that that will be good for your lifestyle. Make sure it is one that you can/want to maintain or even start. Good luck on making your decision, Best Wishes.

not all or nothing

Glad to hear that things are starting to fall into place.  It doesn't always have to be an all or nothing.  You may want to eat meat when you go out or just eat fish.  My best friend does that.  She keeps a vegetarian home for her children but treats herself when she goes out to dinner.  Like GreenFairy said, time will tell.

i think experimenting with what you're eating and really recognizing how you feel at each step is so important and so telling. you're doing right by yourself by just listening to yourself.

Personal choice
by Statuesqueone on August 16, 2007 - 10:06pm
What we eat is so personal and controlled by no one but ourselves. It is so great that you have been able to have the self-discipline to define what you put in your body. What's even cooler is that you can feel the difference of your altered way of eating. As Vicki says it doesn't have to be all or nothing, it's what choice you want to go with.

Anxious to hear how the next two weeks goes. Good luck and thanks for keeping us up to date!

I am visiting a friend who's children are vegetarians.  I admit that I sem to try so many more interesting food when I come here and realize how many other choices there are out there.  Keep up the good work!
