Climate Change & Young Lions Contest

The Young Lions Film Competition just announced the challenge for this year, and its a pretty cool one I think. Each team has to create a 60 second video for MTV Switch, a climate change project aimed at teens and young adults. The winning video wont be preachy but will encourage people to have fun without consuming energy. Seems like a good way to get young people involved -- I'll definitely be keeping up with it.

Young Lions Film Competition

I was at Cannes Lion 2008 covering the action during the Young Lions Film Competition. It was amazing to witness the creative process during those crazy 48 hours.

The gold-winning viral video was made by the team from Argentina, with USA capturing the silver and Italy the bronze. The brief was to support MTV Switch and the viral pieces the teams produced (all shot on the Nokia N95) address eco friendly actions people can engage in.
