Eco-Friendly Jewelry
Posted by Abby on November 30, 2007 - 1:34pm.

I saw a very interesting video on eco-friendly jewelry that showed pieces by designers that use recycled gold, items they have traded, or vintage pieces to make their products. It mentions how buying pieces from flea markets or passing down through family members is a great way to help the environment. That's something that I never though of but is easy to do and it adds so much more value to jewelry. I was also amazed to hear how much mine waste is created to make one single piece of gold jewelry. It will make me think twice before purchasing next time. Does anyone else wear or look for recycled jewelry?
