being diligent

This is not the first time I have heard of this problem.  It truly is up to us to read labels and look for organic products if that is a concern for you. It even goes as far as to have products for babies that have parabens in them, like baby shampoo.  There was a forum posted a few months ago on this very subject.

At least companies are trying to make a difference and putting money where there pocketbooks are.  Until the FDA finds a way to set standards for this industry, we have to be diligent ourselves.

Just read the article on LIME in health section about FDA setting new standards for sunscreen.  Hopefully the next standard will be parabens and the cosmetic industry.  It is going to take a lot of pressure from lobbyists for them to do so with so much money at risk.
