My New Years resolution for 2007 was to make a lot of green changes in my life.  I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for my new campaign......Bottle Tops and Glassene (sp)

What do you do with tops that have rubber in them, like from glass jars....Seems a waste to throw out steel/alum.  tops because of the sealant.

 Also, does anyone know what number plastic the plastic tops are.  here in Las Vegas our recycle company only takes 1 and 2 plastics, there is not even an opportunity to drop off other plastic types. 

 Envelopes with glassine....I have tried to tear the film out, but am the adhesives used don't allow for this...so I find myself cutting the area from the envelopes...
