In search of eco-friendly doggy disposal
Posted by nplonski on July 2, 2007 - 1:53pm.

I'm in search of a more eco-conscious way of cleaning up after my dogs that's also easy on the wallet.  I've seen the in-ground disposal units but I question their ability to handle the capacity of 3 large animals.  And I can't find any of the biodegradable bags that come in bulk.  Anyone else found a solution?

Well I have two pets; a cat and a dog and I use biobags and biobag cat pan liners and just dipose of them in my backyard compost. So far they've worked for me and they're pretty affordable, I don't know which ones you've used. I usually get 50 for 8 dollars or 100 for 13 dollars.

Nice one madamerebellion, that's the same thing I was going to recommend. Biobags are a great alternative!
