bamboo-not so good I've heard
by Harley on May 10, 2007 - 11:09am
I recently read that bamboo was not as eco-friendly as we all thought.  The way in which they cut down the bamboo is not good for the environment.  In fact, I read it in one of phiggs blog on lime.  Let me know what you find out madamrebellion.

Yes I was indeed referring to the information I found in one of phiggs blogs. If I recall correctly though, the topic was about bamboo flooring ... and I suppose that relatively speaking bamboo is ... a greener choice as opposed to wood flooring. But yes, I've been reading up and it is not as envirnonmentally friendly as believed.
