Learn to let go

Not at all. When you date boys just out of college you make peace with the fact that the flowers are going to come from your Dad. I've made peace. And because of that my Valentine's is much more enjoyable.

I think that's great that your dad does that. Mine used to when I was younger and it was really nice. He still sends me cards and puts a little cash in it so my hubbie and I can go to the movies and get a sitter. I still can't let my husband off the hook. Candy or a card is a MUST. Romance is all year, and he shows me that all the time. It's just a day!!!
