I had to move out last week, and am downsizing as much as possible in hopes of traveling for a while. I left most of my furniture for the new tenants and made some money off of it. All of the other things I left out on my table and let my friends come by to pick up as they pleased.

I got rid of 2 fans, some pots, dishes, a full comforter and duvet, some shelves, and some amazing books that I had no use for anymore - - and they all went to a good home. Anything that was left over I put on the street. Freecycling is so much more fun than throwing things away. I really hate putting things in the trashcan, because I just imagine it sitting in a landfill FOREVER - especially anything plastic.

Reuse. Recycle. Ditch it to your friends!
