That's awesome!  My husband and I are eventually going to get rid of both of our vehicles.  Normally, we're not bike people- so this will be an adventure for us.  I checked out christainia bikes website, and too bad they don't have some available for United States.  Those look really neat.

Yay! I sold my car when I moved to the Bay Area from public transportation-bereft LA. It was a great feeling. I now take the trains to work, and I'm building up my confidence to attempt biking in the city. I gotta admit - I'm not entirely car-free (I probably use my bf's car once a week or so), but I feel a million times better not having to sit in traffic everyday... although I do miss my NPR fix! Gotta cue that up on the ol' ipod...

that's so awesome! i think i want to ditch my car and get a skateboard to use to/from the bus stops around my house. Gas is costing me $100.00/month. Thats like - all of my groceries!
