Well it's been almost a week and a half and It's been hard but I've been staying strong. Ditching mexican candy wasn't as hard as I thought it would, actually. If anything I feel that I probably lost a pound or so and I bet I will start noticing some changes in my skin in a few more.

how have all of you been hanging on? It's only been two weeks!

mushing along
by Vicki_R on May 17, 2007 - 9:28am
I've tried to do the things I said I would.  Some things are harder than others and require constant perserverance.  I find that I think about the choices I am making more and do cut myself a bit more slack.  So yes, I am mushing along.

I hope you continue doing great like that, by the way, what did you decide to "ditch" anyway?

up to date.

I've been talking at least 15 minute walks around the neighborhood at early hours in the morning even on sundays and It does give me more energy to ride my bike and be more active even on my supposedly "days off". I do believe that everyone should keep up to date with each other on how we're coming along and what we're doing to keep going.

I definitely want to hear about the green dinner parties.  Keep us posted for those of you who really are going to try it.  Would love to hear about the recipes and what went over big.

I'm glad you girls are thinking of starting these green parties. I've already proposed this to some of my friends and so far haven't gotten much positive feedback, just a select few seemed interested, we'll see how that goes.

So far so good on the lame excuses
by Statuesqueone on May 22, 2007 - 9:14am

I have actually been doing pretty good on ditching the Lame Excuses. I find that  I start to come up with a lame excuse why not to exercise but then I remember my committment here and I put on my work out clothes and go for it.

It's been working so well that I've been working out or walking 5 days a week, and that's really good for me!
