Mexican Candy!

Despite the fact that I have been leading a semi active life by exercising at least three times a week and walking as opposed to driving the car... I still can't get rid of those bad habits of eating so much junk food! I try to avoid potato chips at any cost though, but I still can't get rid of that mexican candy! It's just so darn good. But as we all know, nothing good can come from eating so much sweets, and as painful as it my sound, I am ditching junk food!

I'm not going to quit cold turkey but I do intend on quitting little by little!

One thing I know for sure though is that I am saying farewell to visiting my Grandmother's favorite Dulceria (Candy Store) for a long time, a very long time.

sharing it is better

As I've gotten older, I seem to have aquired a real taste for sweets. I always was a savory person, and still am for the most part, but now I need to have a sweet treat after a meal. That candy looks amazing and I would need to get rid of it or I would devour it too. Save it for a real special occasion and invite a lot of friends to share it with.

I love mexican candy as well, but it is important to limit ourselves. We don't want to go overboard, we should always try to decrease our portions as opposed to quitting cold turkey though, I've learned that from experience that never works.

saying no to self denial

It's hard to only have one of something.  I always envied people that could  only have one piece of cake or one piece of candy.  When I like something, unfortunately, my eyes are bigger than my stomach.  You are right though, moderation is the key and self denial never works.
