We were put on this earth by some sort of “higher” power right? We were put on this earth to live life to the fullest and enjoy it. So why don’t we? We are the rulers of our own life, which is what I have discovered in “The Secret”. This movie/book that I have both seen/read. This inspirational handbook has flipped my life totally around because I have used the secret, I use it everyday in my life now, and the crazy thing is it WORKS!!!

The Secret has been known by some of the greatest minds in time. Beethoven, Buddha, Einstein, Shakespeare, King, Pluto and Newton these great minds knew the secret and now you will too. The secret of life is the Law of Attraction. Within this book and movie you will discover how to be the ruler in your life. How you can get anything and everything that you ever wanted or want? (Love, Wealth, Health, Success, and how to Live your life HAPPY and to the fullest). How is it possible? Is it possible? Yes it is! You are the ruler of your own universe. You drive, you take the wheel and steer the wheel where you want to go in your life, you don’t sit shot gun.

I will just give you the whole idea of the book quick and simple. Whatever you want in Life you need just think it and visualize. It is as easy as that. It is like Aladdin and his magic lamp, the REAL story is Aladdin does not get only three wishes he gets an unlimited amount of wishes. This is the way we need to live our life. Think as if we can have and get anything, because we CAN!!  So make wishes everyday, visualize and think positive. It is very tiring at first trying to control all your thoughts but that is another key in being happy, MEDITATION. Clear your mind at least 20 minutes a day and visualize, Relax, let your mind and body release positive energy. Trust me when I say this whenever I take time out of my day to Meditate and just think positive. I feel good soon after, trust me the side effect of the secret are almost instant. Some things may take time but, hey patience is a virtue, it will come if we wait!!

My first gift from the secret, in the book it told me to visualize something small to start out with like a rock, cloud, or check. You have to visualize how exactly you want to see it when it is there. So I visualized a check for $20, I thought of it in my mind every day just to check how good this secret is. Two days later I got a check in the mail from my Grandpa for my birthday $50.00 telling me it was better late then never. I didn’t only receive what I wanted but I had gotten more than expected!

**There is much more I would love to share with you about the secret but I have to hold back and let all of you to see and experience it yourself, see the movie or read the book. Please, really it will change your life more than I could ever put into words, it did for me and I hope it can do it for you!**

a bit wary

We have had this discussion on LIME in the past about The Secret.  I am always a bit wary of trends like these.  I know people swear by them, the Tony Roberts of the world.  Do you think it really has the power to help you achieve all the successes in your life?  My friend rented the video and said it was very convincing.

Very skeptical

I'm all for positive thinking but I have a hard time believing just because I visualize something it will come to me. If this is true why is there so much need in the world, especially in developing nations? I don't know who wrote this book but if it is so powerful why don't they take the message to poor people and teach them to visualize wealth?

I do agree about taking time out to clear our minds and check in with ourselves. I see great value in that technique. I just have a hard time finding 20 minutes a day to meditate. It's hard enough to find time to exercise let alone meditate. Maybe I should visualize more time in my day, now that would be helpful!

I do try to keep an open mind and would be very interested in reading this book. Maybe you can share the author with us and I can get a copy?

I personally own this book, and everyday I flip through it just to give me a little spark of inspiration throughout the day. The author of the book is Rhonda Byrne. Also the link that I gave in my topic you can also go to the movie's web site and even watch the movie online! Tell me what you think of it when you read/see it!

My Secret

My husband and I watched the secret after seeing it on Oprah. It was very inspiring.  We thought that with most things it is a philosophy, a state of mind and an attitude of expecting good things and being positive.
It is a great jump start for those feeling down in the dumps. However they have to be willing to change their mind set.

whatever works

People need hope and whatever works is fine. I am always skeptical about these kind of beliefs, but sometimes it is what people need.
concerning the secret

honestly I have a hard time with faith when its used as a cosmic cash machine.

I am all for positive thinking but placed properly for the good of human kind.

remember we are all like a coconut.

the outer shell is our body

the coconut meat is our personality what makes us individuals

then the center or milk is what we all start out with. the divine light as it were. we all start out from the same what we do with it is our choice.
