I was reading that the secret to good fortune has nothing to do with being blessed and everything to do with learning to trust your gut. Studies show that lucky people practice tuning in to their hunches by meditation or just regularly finding quiet places to thin. Can tapping into ourselves help us to make better decisions and make us happier?

I can't say that I'm not guilty of feeling unlucky or lucky when I have those uncanny days where either everything goes good or just goes really bad.
Heck, sometimes I go like that for weeks. But I do feel that we are in charge of our luck. Everything that we do will have an effect in our lives. For instance neglecting bills and loved ones leads to a stressful and lonely path... you might suddenly find yourself in this situation feeling "unlucky" ...
For the most part I try to reflect on the effects that my actions will have on my life.
I try to be optimisitic, so yea I do tend to say that I am lucky. I for the most part enjoy each experience in life, good or bad. Bad experiences make you stronger and if you make it out then you just become stronger.
It's all about mind control. But do I feel lucky? Well, I do. I'm here, alive, and healthy... for the most part.
