Frozen pies

Honestly, why do people think they need to buy frozen pies?  The pastry just puts on weight, the contents can be cooked fresh, and taste better, and then there is no chance of having contaminated food.  Growing one's own vegetables is a good start - even if it means using polystyrene boxes.  These vegetables are still fresher [& free] than buying from a supermarket.  There is a CD-ROM that tells you what to plant and when to plant it.  See www.plantagenda.com.au
