President Bush has renominated William Wehrum, Alex A. Beehler, and Susan Dudley for two top EPA jobs and White House regulations chief, respectively, even though they were previously blocked in Congress because of their ties to industry.
As a Canadian transplant, I can't say that I have seen much "democracy in action" since I moved to the U.S. It comes as no surprise whatsoever that Bush's "cronyism" continues and will probably do so until the end of his term as dictator.
