Peer pressure

I guess another way to push big business into acting is through their pocket book.  However, I am not so comfortable with the fact that stockholders are a bit more interested in their bottom line than in the bottom line of our planet earth.  I know that we are all trying to benefit from our investments, but I don't know if threatening to sue over how company stocks are going to be reflected in the future is necessary.  I do hope the pressure being applied helps companies to start taking action now into doing the right thing.
