new jobs/better planet

This is not the first article I have read regarding the economic growth that may come out of global warming.  New technologies are going to need people to oversee growth both manually and technologically.  One article in particular sited the growth of green building and the manpower needed to regulate the products, the permits, the building etc.  It would be great to think a new market was out there that could bring jobs as well as make the planet better.
