The fact is thin sells.  It seems no matter how much awareness is out there and how many people seem to be afflicted with some eating disorder or another, many of us still strive for perfection and we think losing a few pounds can always help.  I applaud campaigns like the dove campaign and hope that by expanding the conversation and portraying more realistic models, that maybe we can start to make an impression, especially with young people. I think a dialogue about confidence is one we need to initiate as well.
