Vegan chic, once an oxymoron, has become a glossy new marketing handle as retailers are encouraging shoppers, even those merely flirting with a “cruelty free” diet, to embrace veganism’s precepts not just in the kitchen but in their wardrobes.

Not only do we have a choice to dress better for the environment, but I understand that there is a whole technology called "nanotechnology". The attached LIME article discusses the issue of this with respects to going green. How far are people willing to pay for the benefits of a better planet. It is really fascinating what is being done with regards to eco-friendly materials.
