Oakland Bans Styrofoam for Takeout

In a bid to cut down on pollution, the Oakland City Council has outlawed Styrofoam and polystyrene packaging used for takeout food. The measure requires restaurants and cafes to switch to disposable food containers that will biodegrade if added to food compost.
