The only purpose in preventing logging in US forests is to support logging in foreign forests and general oppression of the US. Just as the ozone depletion theory is a hoax designed to force sell a new type of refrigerant. Note that the only place ozone depletion theory was "proved" is the South Pole, where most people don't have access, hence no real scientific investigation cross-check.
