Google Aims for Carbon Neutrality by Year End

Google aims to voluntarily cut or offset all of its greenhouse emissions by the end of the year, the Web search leader said on Tuesday, by investing in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and purchasing carbon offsets for emissions it cannot reduce directly.

Some people are not supporters of carbon offsetting and feel it is a way out for some. I think whatever we can do to help the planet is a good thing. Google seems to be putting there money where there computers are and I hope they continue to support organizations that alter global warming.
