This week People magazine reports that Dave Matthews' new son only uses reusable cloth diapers, out of consideration for the environment. Matthews says, "We use cloth diapers for our new baby because I think diapers might be the number three piece of garbage." Parents called the remark ludicrous, saying that everybody knows diapers are most often either number one or number two pieces of garbage.
Trouble in Sacramento! The executive officer of the California Resources Board resigned last week due to what some call a schism within Arnold Schwarzenegger's administration on the issue of global warming. The Governator said of the resignation and ensuing speculation, "I don't get caught up in all of this dialogue." California voters seem to be satisfied that Arnie is following the same general rules in his political career that he did in his acting career.
Prince Charles, or "The Green Prince" as he prefers to be called, was recently photographed in a compromising position. A picture in the New York Post appears to show the minor monarch peering at a female soldier in the general chestal area. A spokesperson for the Prince claims he was simply wondering whether the uniform was made from organic material or not.
Music icon Rod Stewart promised to his fans at a recent show that he'd give them each a ten-pound note if he ever engaged in the "cheap" behavior that some artists at Live Earth London did. Members of the audience lined up with open hands outside the venue following the concert, hoping the anti-cheap vow also covered haircuts.
Ricky Gervais recently joked to an audience that to help the environment and conserve water, he's stopped brushing his teeth. The crowd found the joke to be especially funny because Gervais, being British, obviously never brushed his teeth to begin with.
Interests: I love putting wonderful organic food into my body. I love exercise, dance, running, swimming in tropical waters, yoga, breathing. I love healing and traveling. I am still creating my dream of combining the two in my career. I am passionate about supporting people through their life process. That is what I do for a living as a therapist. It is truely intriguing for me. This is where I thrive. I love witnessing people in their healing process and watching them transform. I love being so uttlerly connected with myself. Feels like a total gift! I love learning about other cultures and experiencing them. I love to nurture my relationships.
Inspiration: My inspiration is my trust in life unfolding and the way things happen. It is fasinating for me to see the universe in action. I trust in perfect timing of life, even when emotionally it may feel otherwise. I trust in divine order. All of the paths inspire me because they are all wanting to get to the same place. I connect with eastern philosophy, and ancient ways of healing.
My sister used cloth diapers for her kids and it was fine. No laundry service for her but it wasn't a big deal. Now how to convince the rest of the country to do the same?
